How each alternative compares
Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny Ryzen 5 Mini PC
The Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny M715q swaps the Intel Core i5 for an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro processor. It keeps the same 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage found in the HP EliteDesk. You gain access to AMD processing power, which may suit specific software needs or preferences. The unit retains Windows 11 Pro and targets business environments. It offers dual monitor support, similar to the HP. If you prefer AMD chips in a Tiny form factor, this is a direct alternative. The compact design matches the HP EliteDesk’s space-saving profile. It is a solid choice for office workstations requiring reliable performance without changing the physical footprint.
HP ProDesk Mini PC Intel Core i5
The HP ProDesk 400 G9 Mini steps up to a six-core Intel Core i5 processor. It matches the 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD of the EliteDesk 800 G3. The key difference is triple display support, which the G3 Mini lacks. This makes it better for multi-monitor business workstations. It includes WiFi 6 networking, an upgrade over standard connections. The operating system remains Windows 11 Pro. You get more screen real estate and slightly stronger processing power. The trade-off is a larger size and higher weight compared to the G3. If you need more display outputs and secure features, this premium option is worth considering.

The six-core processor offers better performance for business applications. It supports Windows 11 Pro and includes wireless connectivity. The Micro form factor is comparable in size to the HP Mini. You gain modern processing power and connectivity options. The trade-off is a potentially higher cost and different port layout. If you need a small PC with a newer CPU and reliable networking, this Dell is a strong choice for standard business use.
Dell OptiPlex Micro WiFi 6E Mini PC
The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Micro includes WiFi 6E networking, a significant upgrade over standard Wi-Fi. It pairs this with an Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro. This model prioritizes stable wireless performance for office workflows. It is ideal if high RAM or large storage is not critical. The size is similar to the EliteDesk Mini. You get business-grade software and modern connectivity. The trade-off is that it may not offer significantly more processing power than the G3. If you need reliable WiFi 6E in a compact footprint, this Dell is a practical alternative for standard office tasks.
Dell OptiPlex Micro Core i3 Desktop
The Dell OptiPlex 3040 Micro uses an Intel Core i3 processor instead of an i5. It includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage. It runs Windows 11 Pro.
